Gilas Pilipinas can definitely win against Iran, the team who grabbed the gold and had them settled for silver during last year's FIBA Asia Championship in Manila.
They really can. Maybe not this time, but in the semifinals or even finals perhaps of this 2014 Asian Games.
As the Top 2 teams of Group E, Iran and Philippines have now advanced to the Quarterfinals, but under different groups.
Gilas' next game will be tomorrow, September 26, 6:30PM, against either Japan or Qatar. - Mykiru.ph
