Nikko Seagal Natividad has been named as Gandang Lalake 2014 winner, during the contest's grand finals on ABS-CBN noontime show 'It's
Showtime'.
Seagal or Sig, a waiter from Malolos, Bulacan, edged out the other finalists who made it to the Top 5, after he gave an impressive and sincere answer during the Q&A
round. The question was (in Tagalog) and if translated into English would go this way: "If you were to liken your profession or work to an animal, what would it be and why?"
Before the Top 5, there were 58 semifinalists who were later trimmed down into just 15.
As the grand winner, Sig took home P300,000 cash prize.
1st Runner Up was #48 Jiad Joseph Arroyo, a guitar coach from Las Piñas City, while the 2nd Runner Up was #6 Ajay Cabrera, a "Magtatatak" from Lipa City, Batangas. Their prize winnings Arroyo and Cabrera were also big: P200,000 and P100,000 respectively.
The 3rd Runner Up honor with a P50,000 cash prize went to #22 Aldrin Javar, a bartender from Novaliches, Quezon City. Javar was also adjudged Best in Talent, which had a P20,000 cash prize.
Printing assistant #16 Orlando Gutierrez, Jr., from Arayat, Pampanga, on one hand was 4th Runner Up, taking home P30,000.
