Miss Supranational 2014 winner crowned! It's a back-to-back!

Miss Supranational 2014 winner has just been crowned in Poland.
The Philippines had its time last year, when Mutya Datul won, and we can't win all the time. Miss Philippines Yvethe Marie Santiago sadly is not this year's winner.
It's Miss India Asha Bhat who won the Miss Supranational 2014 title earlier, becoming the first Indian woman to be crowned Miss Supranational and the 2nd from Asia. It may not be a back-to-back win for the Philippines, but it is a back-to-back for Asia in this Panama-based but Europe-held pageant.
After Mutya Datul's big win last year, the Philippine candidate this year, Yvethe Marie Santiago, unfortunately landed only in the Top 20, when she should have placed higher than that. Obviously, they avoided to have another winner from the Philippines, and so they didn't let her advance to the Top 10, at least.
Much worse though for another Filipina in the pageant, Miss England Zandra Flores. She didn't even make it to the Top 20 cut.
Nonetheless, Asians ruled the pageant this year as the 1st Runner Up is also from Asia, Miss Thailand Parapadsorn "Pla" Disdramrong, whose fellow Thai beauty queen has just won yesterday the Miss Intercontinental 2014 crown much to the surprise of many.
