Tropical Storm Hagupit, a potential super typhoon, to enter PAR Thursday

Tropical Storm Hagupit will be named 'RUBY' once it enters the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) by Thursday, December 4. And PAGASA warns that it could be a super typhoon like 'Yolanda' last year.
The tropical storm which was recently upgraded into a typhoon (internationally named as 'Hagupit') is still too far to affect any parts of the Philippines, but PAGASA has already issued first weather advisory for it earlier, at 5:30 in the afternoon, to alert us of any possible threats as they expect it to enter PAR 2 days from now.
It's located 2,265 km east of Mindanao, with maximum sustained winds of 75 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 90 kph, the weather bureau said in its advisory. It's forecast to move west northwest at 35 kph.
Preparedness. Readiness. That's for sure what PAGASA wants to set in each one of us this early so we won't be sorry in the end.
As reported in tonight's newscast of major TV news programs such as TV Patrol and 24 Oras, Typhoon 'Hagupit' might bring storm surge and follow the same track as last year's devastating typhoon Yolanda.
Oh no! It would be too much for those Yolanda victims to experience such once again in this time that they haven't fully recovered yet.
Let's all pray that the potential super typhoon will change direction and won't directly hit or make landfall in our country. - Mykiru.ph
