Nepal Earthquake 2015: The strong earthquake in Nepal at 11AM today, April 25, 2015 (2PM PH Time), was of 7.9-magnitude, according to the US Geogolical Services. The epicenter was 36km east southeast of Lamjung, Nepal, 77km northwest of Nepal
capital Kathmandu.
I have just seen the CNN report about the massively destructive Nepal earthquake, and it's horrifying to learn that almost 2,000 are reported as dead already as of latest count by Nepal government.
Major structures have been reportedly destroyed, including the historic Kathmandu Durbar Square.
