King Lebron James and J.R. Smith led the Cleveland Cavaliers to victory against the Atlanta Hawks in Game 1 of the NBA 2015 Eastern Conference Finals held earlier at Hawks' home court, Philips Arena in Atlanta, GA.

They made a combined score of 59 pt, 31 by James, 28 by Smith, with the latter even setting new franchise record for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Out of this career-high 28 points, 24 points were from 3-pt shots or a total of 8 three-pointers made, a playoff record for his team. It's also the 14th time in Smith's career that he's hit more than 8 triples in a game, which is now an all-time NBA record, according to the official NBA stats.

We're already used to Lebron James playing so great like this one, but let's also recognize a new milestone in his career. NBA Stats showed that he now has the most playoff games with 30+ points, 5+ rebounds and 5+ assists in a game (a total of 52). In Game 1 vs Hawks, he made 31 pts, 8 rebs and 6 assts.

That was one awesome game Cavs. Can't wait for Game 2, which is scheduled on Friday, May 22, still at the Philips Arena in Atlanta (Saturday morning, May 23, PH time).

Meanwhile, on the other side, the Golden State Warriors are leading their series with the Houston Rockets in the NBA Playoffs 2015 West Conference Finals, when they won Game 1 yesterday, 110-106. Their series' Game 2 is set Thursday, May 21 at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, CA (Friday, May 22, PH time). - Mykiru.ph
