SEA Games 2015 (or the 28th Southeast Asian Games) will officially kick off in Singapore this Friday, June 5th, through the Opening Ceremony to be held at the National Stadium. Live streaming of the ceremony, as well as of various sport events, can be watched using your mobile phone via the 28th SEA Games TV App. On television, it will be aired via TV5 here in the Philippines.
There will be 402 events across 36 sports in the 2015 SEA Games, and the team from the Philippines will have 467 athletes, the 5th highest among the 11 nations taking part in this biennial event. Thailand has the highest participants, a total of 775 athletes, followed by host nation Singapore, with 758.
Days ahead of the 28th SEA Games Opening Ceremony, some games have already started since May 31st, some of which even wrapped up already, and the Philippine team is still medal-less in the standing. Based on the latest results or medals tally as of today, June 2, the host country Singapore already won 2 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medals.
