SONA 2015 Live Streaming Video below. Watch now!
Philippine President Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III delivers his 6th and last State of the Nation Adress or SONA today, July 27, 2015, at the Batasan Pambansa in Quezon City.
Looking forward to hearing PNoy talk about the SAF Fallen 44 in his speech, as well as about the Bangsamoro Basic Law and the K-12 system.
It's already going on at this very moment. Watch it on this live stream video provided by RTVMalacanang:
Asia's Got Talent grand finalist Gwyneth Dorado performed the Philippine National Anthem "Lupang Hinirang".
At the start of his SONA 2015 speech, PNoy apologized for skipping the traditional walk on the red carpet. "Bago po ako magsimula, hihingi muna ko ng paumanhin dahil hindi natin nagawa ang trasidyonal na proseso ng walk. Hindi na rin natin nakamayan ang lahat ng mga nag-abang. Medyo masama po kasi ang aking pakiramdam," PNoy said in the opening of his SONA 2015 speech.
In his speech, PNoy greeted his Vice President Jejomar "Jojo" Binay first, then former President Fidel V. Ramos.
I actually didn't like the first part of his speech, because he once again made a comparison of the present administration and the past Arroyo adminstration.
PNoy said that under his governance, the Philippine became "Asia's Rising Tiger, "Asia's Rising Star and Asia's Brightest Spot".
When it comes to Job Optimism, PNoy said that the Philippines is 1st in Asia, and 2nd in the world.
Probably one of the most-applauded part in his speech was when he said that it's about time to pass the Anti-Dynasty Law.
