Azkals vs Uzbekistan under Group H of FIFA World Cup Russia 2018 Qualifiers is taking place right now at the Philippine Sports Stadium in Bulacan, Philippines. Spotted at the audience (count: 7,500+) cheering for the Philippine team was Teen King Daniel Padilla.
And while Daniel's star lookin' so bright at the audience cheering for the Azkals, the results of the football match sadly aren't looking bright for the Philippine team, 'coz as of halftime, scores were at 0-3, all goals for Team Uzbekistan.
Uzbekistan scored the goals too early within the 1st minute (by team captain Odil Akhmedov), then followed it with another one on the 14th (Sardor Rashidov), and the 3rd one was scored on the 43rd (by Igor Sergeev).
2nd half ....
64' - Another goal for Uzbekistan, a 2nd for Sergeev. Now 0-4.
68' - Azkals finally scored a goal. Thanks Stephan Schrock. 1-4.
80' - Then it becomes 1-5, when Rashidov makes another goal. 1-5.
And that's it. The Uzbeks won, and are now currently 2nd in Group H for the FIFA World Cup 2018 Qualifiers. On top is NOrth Korea, while Philippines is so far in 3rd. Bahrain and Yemen are currently in 4th and 5th Place respectively.
In FIFA world ranking, Uzbekistan is currently ranked 76th, while the Philippines is outside the Top 100.
