MMFF 2015 Awards Night winners and results have been revealed! Which entry was the biggest winner and who won Best Actor and Best Actress?
People have been debating since first day over the real MMFF 2015 top grosser as well as the so-called "ticket swapping" (READ: MMFF 2015 Top Grosser on Day 1 Box Office, "Ticket Swapping Scandal") and the outcome of the Awards Night might aggravate the situation, especially after the A-graded John Lloyd Cruz-Erik Matti film
'Honor Thy Father' was disqualified from being a Best Picture nominee.
MMFF awards night actually results to being controversial most of the time.
Let's all find out the 41st Metro Manila Film Festival 2015 awards winners as the "Gabi ng Parangal" happens tonight at the Kia Theater, being aired via TV5. (winners are listed by movies)

HONOR THY FATHER (5 wins) - Best Supporting Actor for Tirso Cruz III, Best Director for Erik Matti, Best Child Performer for Krystel Brimner, Best Make-up, Best Original Theme Song
MY BEBE LOVE (3 wins) - 3rd Best Picture, Gatpuno Antonio J. Villegas Cultural Award, Best Supporting Actress for Maine Mendoza

Entries 'All You Need Is Pag-ibig', 'Beauty and the Bestie' and 'Haunted Mansion' failed to win a single award.
SPECIAL AWARDS: Cesar Montano and Jennylyn Mercado as Male and Female Celebrities of the Night
THE CONTROVERSIES:
- There was a Miss Universe-like incident at the Awards Night when 'My Bebe Love' was mistakenly announced first as Gatpuno Antonio Villegas 3rd Best Picture, when it's just 3rd Best Picture, and the Gatpuno Villegas Cultural Award is a different one. The movie though actually won the two separate awards.
- Now in relation to that one above...It's being questioned by many why the comedy film 'My Bebe Love' was the recipient of the Gatpuno Antonio J. Villegas Cultural Award, which is an award for the film that best portrays Philippine culture and the Filipino people to the world. Past winners of this in the last 5 years were 'Rosario', 'Manila Kingpin: The Asiong Salonga Story', 'Thy Womb', '10,000 Hours' and 'Bonifacio: Ang Unang Pangulo'.
- Just an hour after winning Best Director (he wasn't present to accept the award), 'Honor Thy Father' director Erik Matti posted the very intriguing tweets below. He isn't happy about his Best Director win, and also mentioned there something about "ticket swapping" in the box office and "lutuan" at the MMFF awards night.
