At only 22 years old, 'La Luna Sangre' star Daniel Padilla won for the first time the other night as Movie Actor of the Year in the 33rd PMPC Star Awards for Movies 2017. He won for his role as Ely in the Olivia Lamasan box-office hit 'Barcelona: A Love Untold'.
Daniel now joins the ranks of ABS-CBN's top leading men Piolo Pascual, Jericho Rosales, Coco Martin and John Lloyd Cruz, who also earned before the same recognition from the Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC).
Amazingly, DJ won at only 22, younger than when those other 4 Kapamilya stars won their first PMPC Star Awards for Movies Best Actor award. Piolo was already 30 then, Coco was 29, Jericho was 27 while Lloydie was 26.
Mykiru.ph has listed down here (exclusive!) the 10 Youngest Best Actor Winners at the PMPC Star Awards for Movies starting from 1995 up to 2017, and there you can find Daniel as the youngest winner in the last 13 years.
