Some fans are not happy about this Star Magic Catalogue 2018 cover

The Star Magic Catalogue 2018 was unveiled yesterday by ABS-CBN's Star Magic, and the cover generated mixed reactions from the fans.
On the cover of Star Magic Catalogue 2018 are Daniel Padilla, Kathryn Bernardo, Liza Enrique Gil, Jericho Rosales, Bea Alonzo, Piolo Pascual, Jodi Sta. Maria, Maja Salvador, Gerald Anderson, Angelica Panganiban, Xian Lim, Erich Gonzales, Kim Chiu, Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia
While the KathNiel and LizQuen fans are loving it a lot since their idols are positioned there on top of everyone else, some other fans are not happy about the cover. Here's why...
For the first time ever since the cover started featuring faces of big Star Magic stars, the 4-time Box Office King John Lloyd Cruz is notably missing this time on the latest cover of Star Magic Catalogue.
John Lloyd has been on the cover for 11 years, and many believe he should still land a place there even though he's currently on an indefinite leave. (READ: This is why John Lloyd Cruz is leaving showbiz...for now)
Perhaps you'll be even more shocked to know that there's actually no John Lloyd feature inside. Is he officially out of Star Magic?
Meanwhile, fans of JoshLia Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto are certainly pleased to see their idols making their debut on the Star
Magic Catalogue 2018 cover.
Being on the cover means Joshua and Julia are now being considered by Star Magic as among its big stars following the success of their movies 'Vince, Kath & James', 'Love You to the Stars and Back' and 'Unexpectedly Yours', all realesed within the last 12 months.
However, not all are pleased to see them there. Some think it's too early for JoshLia to join the ranks of other A-list Star Magic artists, while others think Zanjoe Marudo, who has scored recently an International Emmys nomination, is more deserving of a spot on the Star Magic Catalogue 2018 cover.
Zanjoe was already part of the cover four times: in 2007, 2008, 2013 and 2016.
Here are the Star Magic Catalogue covers in previous years, starting in 2005 when it was still a special issue of StarStudio Magazine.
